Dustin Mills serves as President of Taft-Mills Group, LLC. During his 20-year career in the multi-family industry, Dustin has worked in various senior-level positions for several regional and national development firms. In this capacity, he has overseen the development of more than $400 million dollars in completed projects. As an expert in the fields of Affordable Housing and Historic Preservation, Dustin has developed more than 2,000 affordable units through the Housing and Historic Preservation Tax Credit Program(s).
Dustin holds a Master of Science ("MSc.") degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University in New York and a Master of Business Administration (“MBA”) from the Kenan Flagler Business School at The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He completed his undergraduate work at Wingate University and holds a post-baccalaureate certificate in Urban Land Development from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Furthermore, Dustin is a member of the Board of Directors for The Boys & Girls Club of the Coastal Plain and is a Board Member of the Pitt-Greenville Convention & Visitors Authority. Previously, he served as the Vice Chairman of the City of Greenville’s Planning and Zoning Commission.
